Riverview Woman Dies After Van Hits Car

November 9, 2005

A 61-year-old Riverview woman was killed after her car was hit by another vehicle while she was trying to make a turn.

Crista Ferrari was driving west on Bloomingdale Avenue about 4:40 p.m. and entered the left turn lane to go south on U.S. 301, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. As Ferrari started to make the turn onto U.S. 301 in her 2000 Hyundai sedan, the car was struck by a northbound 1999 Chevrolet van driven by 61-year-old Anne Stiller of Riverview, the patrol said.

Stiller was not injured, the patrol said. Both were wearing their seat belts. Charges were pending the outcome of the investigation.
