Collision With Car Kills Motorcyclist

November 8, 2005

A 33-year-old man was killed when he was thrown off his motorcycle when it collided with a car, Tampa police said.

Quintin Everett of Tampa was driving south on Habana Avenue near St. Joseph's Hospital on his 2001 Honda motorcycle when a Chevrolet driven by Nancy Seviour, 73, tried to turn left into the medical center parking lot. Everett, who was driving 40 mph, struck the car and was thrown off the motorcycle. He suffered fatal injuries, police said.
