Bicycle Collides With Moving Vehicle, Rider Injured

A man suffered head injuries after his bicycle collided with a vehicle on Blue Angel Parkway near Sorrento Road, Escambia County emergency dispatchers said. William LeRoy, 53, of Pensacola was in fair condition at Baptist Hospital.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers said LeRoy was riding eastbound on Sorrento about 2:40 p.m. when he traveled across three lanes of traffic, weaving between vehicles. The front of LeRoy's bicycle crashed into the side of one vehicle in a turn lane, troopers said. No one else was injured.
