Florida Department of Transportation and Florida Highway Patrol officials examined an accident scene in Jacksonville where three members of a wedding party were killed and four others were injured when a sport utility vehicle hit a guardrail, overturned and burst into flames after being rear-ended by a truck.
The SUV was part of a three-vehicle caravan headed to Jacksonville International Airport for a flight home to New York City after a wedding during the weekend. Authorities say the SUV's driver, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, missed the airport exit and may have cut in front of the truck before the collision.
