South Florida Resident Still In Critical Condition After Crashes

November 3, 2005

Lieutenant Bill Ferrell of the Florida Highway Patrol said that the victims of two Sunday night traffic accidents -- one on Interstate 95 in Hallandale, and another on Interstate 75 in Davie -- remained in critical condition Monday, September 26, at Memorial Regional Hospital.

The first accident happened around 7 p.m. on northbound I-95 when a North Miami Beach woman named M.J. Lily, 30, lost control of her Kia and sideswiped a motorcyclist, Bill Ferrell said.

The severely injured motorcyclist's name is Christion Woodson, 45, of Opa-locka, Mr. Ferrell added. He remained in critical Monday night. FHP has still not decided whether to charge Lily because they are not done with their investigation.

Florida Highway Patrol has not yet charged M.J.Lily.
