New Suspect In Polk Hit And Run Death

Sheriff's Deputies now have a suspect in the case of a fatal hit and run in Polk County. Investigators say the victim was knocked off his bicycle and left to die on the side of busy State Road 37 in Mulberry. It wasn't until the following morning his body was found.
Investigators say Kenton Ballenger was killed on his 57th birthday, the day after Thanksgiving, after being hit by a truck.
Detectives believe that a 1997 Dodge pickup truck was involved in the accident and the owner is 63-year-old John Henry Williams.
