Motorist Hospitalized After Ambulance Collision
November 15, 2005
A Sunstar ambulance apparently was hit by a Nissan minivan at Fivay and Clayton roads in Hudson. Julieann Branco, 40, of 8110 Roxboro Road, was flown by helicopter to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg. She was cited for violating the right of way, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Troy Sumner, 34, who was in the ambulance, was taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point for minor injuries.
