Hit-and-Run Claims Life of Young Woman

Authorities are looking for a man in connection with a hit-and-run auto accident that killed an 18-year-old Polk County woman. The accident occurred on County Road 544 and South 10th Street.
Haines City police have a warrant on the charge of leaving the scene of a traffic crash involving death for Jesus Rene Perez, 18, of Davenport. He already has an active felony warrant involving violation of probation on the charges of fleeing to elude and operating a vehicle with no valid drivers license, according to Haines City police.
