Several Pensacola residents are in serious condition Sunday, December 11, at area hospitals after a two-vehicle collision in southwest Escambia County.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers said that Jackie Del Cater, 51, of Ruberia Avenue was driving her truck alone at 8:05 p.m. on Saturday, heading east on Gulf Beach Highway when her pickup crossed the center line east of Kingsport Avenue.
The truck collided with a car headed west on Gulf Beach Highway, driven by Jennifer Holland Burr, 34, of Staysail Street.
Mr. Burr's car held six passengers including five children and one adult from two streets: Mizzen Lane and Staysail Street.
All eight people in the two vehicles were injured. Joshua Aguilar, 8, of Mizzen Lane and Farrin Folk, 10, of Staysail Street were listed in serious condition Sunday at West Florida Hospital.
Baptist and Sacred Heart hospitals also received patients from the collision.
The conditions of the others were not available by noon Sunday.
